Night Porter

Location: Beaulieu Road , Lyndhurst

Hours: Full Time

Salary: Up to and including Tronc.

We are delighted to start the search for a Night Porter to join our nights team at the award-wining Lime Wood Hotel.

Lime Wood is a 33-bedroom boutique country house set in the heart of the New Forest National Park. It is laid-back 5* luxury at its best, with Chefs Angela Hartnett and Luke Holder at the helm of the kitchen and a wellness spa within the grounds.

Our nights team form the backbone of the hotel’s operation. It is not just about being present at night but preparing the hotel for the following day and providing safety to our guests.

Pay?

42.5 hours per week based over 5 nights.

Up to £29500 including Tronc.

About the role:

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Fulfilling all tasks assigned by our Reception Manager . Including cleaning, stock replenishment, audits, and safety checks.
• Proactive and adaptable to any situations that may occur during the night.
• Ensure all guests are safe and attended to should they require assistance from a member of staff.
• Security and Fire Walk rounds of the entire property
• Working collaboratively with the nights team, ensuring all assigned tasks carried out in a consistent and timely manner.
• Carry out safety checks as/when required.
• Report any incidents to our Reception Manager.

About you:

Previous experience in a similar night’s role is beneficial. Full training will be provided.

A proactive and reliable attitude towards work is essential. You must be able to deal with situations as and when they arise, ensuring guests feel safe and accommodated throughout the night.
