About the Role

Assistant Festival Manager – Smoked & Uncut

Contract: January 2022 – August 2022

January – May & September: 40 hours per week. Shared between our Head Office in Lyndhurst, Hampshire, on-site visits and working from home.

Festival months, June, July & August: Flexible working hours across various locations within the South Coast.

Salary: £26,000-£30,000 PA, depending on experience.

About the role:

As our Assistant Festival Manager, you will be overseeing the operation of all in-festival restaurants across all Smoked & Uncut Festivals.

Reporting to our Festival Manager, Tim you will need excellent communication skills whilst dealing with all dining reservations. This includes pre-festival enquiries, such as special requests, dietary requirements, and group bookings. You will also need to liaise effectively with our festival chefs structuring and producing each of the festival menu’s.

Smoked & Uncut is home to a small array of glamping tents. You will be a point of contact for our glamping guests, ensuring they have a memorable experience both before and during the festival.

Other responsibilities include, but not limited to: Creating rotas for our internal festival staff, conversing with all our hotels with the management of these teams. Supporting these teams during each festival ensuring our festival goers are embracing what Smoked & Uncut has to offer. Carrying out any other responsibilities assigned by, or in the absence of our Festival Manager.

We are looking for an active, multi-tasker who has experience within large food & beverage operations, or within music, food-focused events. Strong communication skills are a must, along with the flexibility to travel and attend all festivals within our South Coast regions.
