Salary: Up to £29,500 plus Tronc

We are currently looking for a committed Marketing Executive who is creative, passionate and confident to join our team at Lime Wood and Portetta on a maternity cover basis. The role is available from the end of January 2025 and will run through until March 2026.


Lime Wood Hotel, set in the heart of the stunning New Forest National Park is an award-winning 5 Star, 33-bedroom hotel, creating laid-back luxury at its best. Its restaurant, Hartnett Holder & Co is a relaxed Italian restaurant with chefs Angela Hartnett and Luke Holder at the helm. Within the grounds, Herb House Spa, our award-winning spa treats guests and members to yoga on the roof in a herb garden, double treatment rooms and take in the forest views from the sauna.


Portetta is also a part of Lime Wood group, situated at the foot of the slope of Courchevel Moriond (1650), it’s the perfect base for the ultimate ski experience. With thirty-eight cosy rooms all overlooking the piste or mountains as well as six stylish duplex lofts. Accredited with a French 4 star rating, Angela Hartnett has also taken to the slopes with ‘Cucina Angelina’, serving the best Italian kitchen specialities with a nod to the local Savoyard cuisine and classic French dishes.

About the role:


The role requires supporting the Marketing Department’s execution of the agreed overall strategy and company objectives to maximise revenue generation whilst upholding the brand values for Lime Wood and Portetta, working across all areas of the marketing mix.


Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

· Supporting the Marketing Department’s execution of the agreed overall marketing strategy and company objectives for all brands and sub brands to maximise revenue generation and brand equity, providing support to the Marketing Manager, across all areas of the marketing mix.

· Providing support to the Marketing Department across a broad range of projects, including maintaining the marketing department’s documentation, image libraries and databases

· Responsible for managing the social media platforms for Lime Wood and Portetta, ensuring timely, engaging and creative content is planned and scheduled across all platforms with the objective of driving engagement and social media followers. Additionally, managing the day-to-day enquiries on social media

· Coordinating and writing content for websites, blogs, biweekly newsletters and social media content

· Work closely with our digital agency and content manage the Lime Wood and Portetta website to ensure these are kept up to date with content, imagery and relevant information

· Coordinating the creation and production of all internal and external marketing literature and collateral – including print/digital and adverts – and working with third party agencies to produce, ensuring these are created in line with the brand guidelines


Skills and Experience


  • You will have excellent organisational and time management skills, and the ability to work flexibly and part of a team.
  • Excellent writing/copywriting skills with strong attention to detail
  • You will be working with internal and external teams so building good relationships is an essential part of this role.
  • Flexible, upbeat, and reliable, with a positive and proactive attitude and enjoy working closely within a small team

· Previous experience in Marketing is essential to the role, experience in hotel or travel marketing is beneficial.


This role is for maternity cover with a start date from the end of January 2025.
